Huge thanks are due to everyone who helped with the Meet & Train Finale at Irishtown on Thursday May 24. Crusaders hosted this track event, which brought the
M&T Summer League to its conclusion. It would not have been possible without the super team of volunteers led by Geraldine: Karen, Anne-Marie, Eileen and Mary O'C on catering
(what a feast!), Orla and Maureen on registration and Jim, Harry, Aoife, Bronagh, Niamh, Liz, Paul, Shane, Fiona, Caroline & Manuelle on various trackside duties. Thanks also to Rachel for coming and to Eugene, John, Philip and Lindie for their pre-event help and advice on the track
logistics.
Last but not least, thanks to the staff at Irishtown stadium, particularly Mick and Fintan for their assistance with setting up the event. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are always so obliging and helpful.
Feedback was very positive and this event may well become a regular fixture on the M&T calendar.
To everyone involved, thanks again.
PS: Pics on the way from Emma.
