Donore Win Winter League

Here are the overall results from the Meet & Train Cross-Country League 2011-2012, based on everyone's best 3 results from the 4 races.
Donore A win the Gold Division with Sportsworld B 2nd and Dunboyne  3rd - congrats to all on those three teams.
In the Silver, Sportsworld C are clear winners with Lucan A and Fingallians A taking second and third places.
In Bronze, Crusaders B and Lucan B take the honours.
Congratulations to Freda Comiskey from Lucan overall winner of the league on ten points.  It was a closely fought thing with three athletes in joint second place on 18 points: Karen Behan and Andrea Flanagan - both Donore - and Dunboyne's Eileen Thoma, who is also first 0/45.
Of the individuals, Fingallian's Bronagh Snow is first with our own Sue Lynch in 2nd place.
Thanks to all the clubs who organised and hosted races, to everyone who helped to mark out the courses, take down results at the finish, officiated or gave out the very welcome tea and biscuits afterwards.  Thanks also to the team managers and, as always, to Sue for holding it all togehter.
We hope to have a meeting soon to fix dates for the summer league (provisionally Mon Mar 12, Donore sports centre).
