Summer League - Race 1

At last - we have a date for the opening race in this year's Summer Meet & Train League.
Irishtown is the venue next Sunday April 17(11am). The race is over two miles, so ideal for beginners.
Entry €20 per person for the three-race league or €7 per race. Souvenir all who complete league. Teams of six in the usual gold, silver and bronze calsses, so everyone has a chance of a prize. Registration & changing from 10am in the stadium/track' tea afterwards.
Three mile and four mile races to follow, building up nicely to the Women's Mini Marathon.
Newcomers welcome; individuals or groups of all standards.

I live in the Lucan area and I am looking for some meet and train sessions. I travel for work so I find it hard to stick rigidly to a timetable. Are there times and places where I can be to start training. I have already run a 10k (last Sunday) and i want to improve my time of 1 hour 9. Thanks Una (una.mullaney@hotmail.com)
