Iseult, a promising junior track athlete, took the lead on the second of three laps.
Her time of 14 minutes 10 seconds for two miles put her 21 seconds ahead of Donore's Sinead McAuley. In third place was Freda Comiskey of Lucan while fourth and fifth were Sportsworld teammates Amy Wright and Shona Keane. With Karen Behan of Donore in sixth place, the battle for the team placings between Sportsworld and Donore is sure to be close.
Big thanks to John "The Drake" Fitz, Sean McG and all their sidekicks from Raheny who put on a superb show.Also to Mary Butler of Blackrock for getting the results sorted so quickly.
